I spoke with the recruiter, which was a great conversation and she told me would be passing me on to the HM for a conversation. Unfortunately, I had to reschedule the initial meeting with the HM due a work meeting that I needed to attend, so we scheduled for another day. The recruiter left a VM for me an hour before the meeting saying they needed to cancel because they were holding off on this position and that she still wanted to speak with me about other roles. I called her back and emailed saying I'd love that, but never heard back. She even suggested I text her, which I did, and still never heard back. Ghosting candidates is a great way to get a bad name for yourselves.
