they made me go through 5 rounds of interview process only to roll out an offer letter that's LOWER than my current ctc. i don't know why they asked me what my ctc expectations were in the first place and why they thought i would accept a lower offer. this was so unprofessional and im very disappointed in their hr because of how rude they are

TA person called me and wanted me to directly come in for the F2F interview. I asked for an exploratory call with the HM with who I will be working for. The Engineering leader got an idea of my work, and I asked him to explain roadmap/initiatives on a high level for the upcoming 3-4 months. The person said he can't talk about them, not even on a high level. This was a big letdown. During F2F round, the Design Round included Designing Youtube, and AutoSuggest - I had studied this and gave the answer with all use cases - this question was something I had answered at previous interviews and they were right designs. The interviewer had to step out for 5 minutes during the interview as he got a call. He seemed convinced about the entire design. 5 minutes post the interview, the TA person came and said the feedback is negative. This was a shocker, as the interviewer was very much convinced about the design solution. Overall, a below-par experience. The Explo calls were not scheduled well - the TA person pings me and tells the schedule, but calls me and confirms the explo call will happen 5 minutes from now, sends the Zoom link 2 minutes before the call. Isn't this very bad candidate experience. Even the F2F round was rescheduled twice. Seems like they don't care about candidate experience. Feedback wise - no clear feedback at all. Mediocre Interview experience overall.
