This was for their ShareMoney division. First, got an email from the recruiter asking some time slots to set up a phone interview. Then the recruiter disappeared for more than a week and I re-emailed her and got a response that she had missed my original email and asked for few more time slots. Then, got a call from the recruiter at the agreed time. Had a good chat about my profile and the role. The recruiter told that I would be getting a coding challenge which I need to complete within 24 hours of receiving it. I can decide on which day I want to do the coding challenge. I decided to take it the very next day and the recruiter sent me the description through email. The task was to simply code a simulation of chutes and ladders game in Java. I completed the challenge and emailed the recruiter my solution. Got a rejection two days later saying that she forwarded it to tech manager and got the decision to not proceed with my application. No reason/feedback. At least be kind enough to give comments because candidates put in quite some time to code and test it. I do not recommending wasting time with this company.
