When I got to the office, after waiting for about 5 minutes, I was greeted by the HR rep and told to follow her into a room where there were another two ladies already waiting for me. They were part of the operations team. I introduced myself and shook their hands. There was an oval shaped table in the room. All three women sat on one end of the table, and the HR rep asked me sit at the other end. I believe this was supposed to be a panel interview. As I sat down on the chair, the HR rep told me "You may start whenever you're ready". This was different from other interviews I've had in the past, since normally my interviewer asks me questions. I asked if they wanted to hear my educational and work experience, or just my work experience. The HR rep replied with "It's up to you". So I went over everything that was on my resume. Throughout the whole interview, they did not smile or make me feel welcomed. The interview was about 30 minutes long. They asked me three questions at the end of the interview. They made sure to let me know that they have a very close relationship with the owners of the bank since they've with the bank from 25 to 30 years. I gave them a bit of history of the bank since I had read all about it. Then they thanked me for my time and stood up. I got up, thanked them for having me and left.
