Received a call to set up a phone interview with the recruiter over a month after applying for the role. The day of the phone interview, the recruiter emailed me 15 minutes before the call and said we would have to reschedule. I provided my availability and after a week, no word from the recruiter. I followed up again and we finally scheduled the phone interview. The day of the phone interview the recruiter called me about 15 minutes past the scheduled time. The recruiter asked me the usual interview questions (why do you want to work here, why do you want to leave your current company, etc) and appeared to be typing my responses as I spoke. It seemed like the recruiter was busy trying to complete a template rather than actively evaluating my background. I was told I would receive a response in about 4 days. I received a rejection email almost a month later.
