I was approached through a headhunter and initially interviewed by the internal recruitment team, which was a polite, frank and honest conversation. Following this, I sat two psychometric tests and I had four meetings (two interviews and two conversations). Throughout the process, I found the team to be professional but not tied down by an overly prescriptive process. The first two interviews were held on the same day and consisted of a competence based interview and a separate presentation about a piece of previous work. The second stage consisted of a meeting with the head of the service that I would be joining and the lead board member for that area. The experience in both of these sessions was overwhelmingly positive.

This interview method is highly effective as it involves team members from various parts of the departments. It’s a great way to get a feel for the company culture and the people you’ll be working with.
