Avoid. Where do I even begin? Everything seemed to be really positive at the very beginning of the process and found the team to be great. Initial screening call was what you'd expect no issues there but was pretty much downhill from there. I passed the screening call and was asked to do a virtual interview with one of the directors and an consultant. Agreed to do this but in that same email I enquired about the salary/commision. This part was completely ignored and the meeting was booked. I then asked again could I have my question around salary answered and was told I will find out on the call. Fast forward to the call again it's what you'd expect from an interview nothing too difficult. On the call I again asked for information on the compensation. "So obviously you will have a set salary and then when it comes to commision this is how it works..." Yet again no actual figure's or even a range given for the salary. Apparently after this call the recruiter tried to call my mobile but yet nothing in my call log in relation to this call. Came off this call and emailed the recruiter to get some figures and was ignored, had to send a follow up email 5 days later where I was told "We are still interviewing candidates". Again completely ignored my question and didn't even address it. It really was a shame how all of this was handled as PE looks like the only good recruitment firm in Cork and I really actually wanted to work here. Would be so much easier if they were transparent when it comes to the base salary, even something as simple as giving a range. Surprising how a recruitment firm gets recruitment wrong.
