I was initially recruited to interview by their internal recruiter through linkedin. I decided to go through with it, just to learn more about the company and the opportunity. The phone interview was him asking why I'm considering jumping after a year. I told him that you were the one that pursued me. After 10 minutes, we ended. Then he emails me telling me that the hiring manager wants to meet me. I took the day off and prepared for it. The entire interview was him just telling me that he is looking for a candidate unlike me. Well, then why bother scheduling the meeting? I did not lie during the application process. He didn't take any notes and gave me this smug unprofessional glare.
This gave me a real bad perception of the company. I don't mind not getting the job, but you already made up your mind of me before I walked in. That means the interview was unnecessary.
