Fairly basic. I was contacted directly by a recruiter and put in touch with the hiring manager. The next step was the on-site interview with various staff members. I got feedback immediately after that I was to get a job offer. As weeks went by I reached out and was told to be patient they had to get the position approved first. Several more weeks went by and they stopped responding. If you are going to go through the trouble of interviewing, especially if they solicited you, ask if the position is approved to be filled to not waste your time.
