Started out good, had an interview with the recruiter on a Thursday Aug 8th, was told that they would speak with the hiring manager Friday and get back to me the following Monday Aug 13th........ Heard nothing. I sent an email to check on Tuesday Aug 14th and got NO response, sent another email on Thursday and NO response. Didn't want to seem pushy but I was expecting to hear back the next Monday like I was told... Waited until the next FridayAug 23rd and sent another email and a message on LinkedIn, and got an Out of Office response. Then I waited until Friday Aug 30th and still heard nothing back. Completely Ghosted...... Until Sept 4th when I got the automated "Thank you for investing your time and effort to interview with Pacific Life. At this time, we have decided to move forward with another candidate" email...
I then emailed the recruiter on Sept 5th letting her know how unprofessional and disrespectful this was, wouldn't you know I got response 15 minutes later saying sorry blah blah blah, we'll do better.
So, that response shows that she was intentionally ghosting me rather than telling me that it's taking a little longer than planned or whatever the situation was for the delay over 3 weeks.
If this is how they treat potential employees, I can't imagine that they treat their actual employees much better... Don't waste your time.
