Spoke with a recruiter, he didn't seem to interested in my skill set or discussing the role. The call lasted about 5 minutes and he set me up with a first round phone interview. After reading another review here stating that the role had a different internal job description and title, I was thinking about dropping even showing up for the phone interview, but curiosity got the better of me. phone interview: I asked the interviewer pretty much point blank if this role was the same as the site reliability operations analyst role once he/she asked me to ask questions, the interviewer said that it was and that the description/title is different internally vs. externally. I asked about the specific day to day responsibilities after that, and the interviewer dodged the questions. I ended the interview shortly after this as I don't like being mislead, needless to say I wasn't asked to come on site. To me it sounds like this job is high volume in the weeds admin/project coordination type of work. Long hours doing menial tasks. Any job that sells (misleads) people on roles like this isn't a job I would be happy at. Fair warning!!
