The interview process begins with a phone screen with your recruiter. Keep in mind that the recruiter will not call you after you apply, you must check your Paycom portal to see messages from the recruiter. The phone screen takes about 20 minutes and if they decide to move forward with you, they will contact you the next day. From this point, they will setup a time and location to do an in-person interview with 2 team leaders. The interview takes anywhere from 40 minutes to one hour. A lot of the questions are situational based questions along with some questions about yourself. Most questions require you to answer using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). This way, you give them the most detailed answer possible. The interview ends up being very conversational and not super scripted or robotic. They are looking for both professional and emotional intelligence and hire all personality types. If they like you and choose to hire you, they generally call within 1-2 days but will contact you regardless of if you get an offer or not. The recruiters do a great job of communicating with you.

I applied online, received an email a day or two later to do a phone interview, did the phone interview the next day, and then an in-person interview 5 days later.
