      Colloquio

      - Their diversity and inclusion policies are a joke! They promote it in such a way everywhere but the experience they have given proves it’s not really the case. I was shortlisted for an in-person interview on 24th June for a Talent Acquisition Professional role and I interviewed with two panels and and did a sourcing challenge as well here and got a call on 26th June that I have cleared the first round and need to come in for the managerial discussion -no additional information was provided by anyone. I took a day off, came in and the TA Head offers a 6.5+ years experienced diversity resource working as a Talent Acquisition Partner at one of the biggest MNC’s a beginner-level sourcer role that too on a contract and that too with barely a 10% hike. I have come across multiple 3-4 years experienced male candidates working at PepsiCo at a Recruiter/ AM TA level and they offered a Senior TAP(diversity) this role. I said I’ll think about it, spoke to the Recruiter and the Lead post this meeting letting them know that this was the worst candidate experience I have ever encountered and that this is a demotion and more importantly, a permanent-senior Recruiter position with a 55% hike was what I had discussed with the recruiters and with the panels in the first round and was being offered a completely different role which was not even informed/discussed prior to calling the candidate in-person on a weekday for the final round. They told me that nothing was finalised yet and that the lead will reach out to me personally by 3rd July and nobody responded to me after multiple follow-ups post calling candidates for in-person interviews which no company is doing, I get one email today saying my candidature is on hold. A straight up rejection is the norm or bare minimum is informing the candidates for which role and level they are being invited for in-person interviews and not this experience.
