I got invited to an interview by a team member next day after I applied. I have mixed feelings after the interview. On the one hand, he was asking reasonable questions (nothing special, just questions about my CV, why Personio and why this position), told me about the company and the position and answered all my questions well. On the other hand, I could clearly see that the interviewer spoke like he is in a hurry and wants to get done with it quickly, he sounded like he is going through a “script”. I think they invited too many people for this introduction interview and by the day of my interview he already talked to so many candidates, that they were already not interested to consider new people. The interview lasted for about 35-40 mins. Several days later I got an automated email that they decided not to proceed with my application and due to a large number of candidates they can’t give individual feedback. The next day though, I received another email from HR telling me again that I am not selected (come on, I got it from the first email!) and suggested to book a time slot for feedback with her if I want to.
