I applied online. I never got a call back, however because this Petsmart was so close to my home, I often dropped by personally to speak with the manager. One month and three personal visits later, I finally got an interview. The interview was relatively easy. The manager mostly spoke of herself and her pets rather than the job itself, but nevertheless it was a breeze. In the end, I was told I would get a call back on Friday (interview was a Tuesday). A week and a half went by. I called to ask if I was hired, it turns out that the position was given to someone else.

Was asked some basic questions pertaining to my knowledge of animals, customer service, etc. It was probably about 30 minutes long and pretty basic. I'd say it's the typical process for a first job for a teenager.
