Colloquio per Customer Success Manager (CSM)

      21 apr 2026
      Candidato anonimo a colloquio
      Denver, CO
      Nessuna offerta
      Esperienza negativa
      Colloquio difficile

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Playground (Denver, CO)

      Colloquio

1st round: Screening call 2nd round: Formal interview with the department lead 3rd round: A 4-hour in-person "paid" workday with multiple micro-interviews and a presentation on a business problem. I need to mention I never received the stipend that was offered for the in-person day. 4th (final) round: Two separate interviews with a co-founder and the CEO. Decision: I received a generic email from a no-reply email address that I wasn't selected. Feedback - The recruiter said I would be given a stipend for the 4-hour in-person workday. I never received the stipend even after following up about this after I was sent the rejection email. - The 15 minute final interview with the CEO was a poor experience. They didn't seem interested in me as a candidate given their body language, tone, and that they asked me many of the same questions I had been asked in earlier stages. - I understand having to send automated messages for early round candidates given how many applicants Recruiting is dealing with, but if a candidate makes it through all rounds (6+ hours invested) consider sharing feedback on why they weren't selected instead of just sending a generic email from a no-reply sender address. - During the in-person workday I was given visibility into real customer data (I was told I'd sign a NDA but this never happened much like the stipend). I share this to just explain some of the peculiar decisions made by their leadership team.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Have you ever achieved greatness? (This was a question from the CEO)

Thank you for sharing this. We're genuinely sorry your experience didn't reflect the standard we try to hold ourselves to, particularly given how much time you put in across all four rounds. The stipend should have been handled before you ever received the rejection, and that's on us. Please reach out to me at joe.ruggiero@tryplayground.com directly so we can get that sorted right away. Your point about late stage candidates deserving more than a generic email is fair, and it's something we're taking seriously. I'll see if I can get a more concrete piece of feedback your way. We wish you the best in your job search.
