The process was recruiter screen --> case study --> 45-minute behavioral --> onsite --> final call with a founder. Timing was flexible and took a couple of weeks (mainly because of my schedule). I was impressed by the process and the level of respect the hiring team had for my time as a candidate. I've interviewed with dozens of start-ups, and never has a company pay me for my time or my work in a process. By contrast, Playground paid a stipend for my time for the 4-hour onsite project. They also made sure that time included an opportunity for me to meet with someone uninvolved in my actual process so that I could ask questions about the culture. These were incredible green flags that made it easy to say "yes" when the offer did come.
