Contacted by recruiter about this position. Did phone interview with the hiring manager? I did well enough to move on to plant interview. Set up travel arrangements including rental car and hotel. Two hours before I was to leave and drive to the interview location the recruiter called me and said they made and accepted a verbal off from a candidate. Talk about pissed off. At least let me interview...see what I have to offer in a in person interview that was already coordinated. Their loss though... I’m a better performer than the individual they hired...just saying
