I approached UTC at the Industrial Roundtable at Purdue University. P&W is hiring rigorously due to their new contract with developing 8000 geared turbofan engines. I had an on campus interview with a technical recruiter. I then was invited to Super Day in their main facility that develops the geared turbofan and was interviewed by the structures and dynamics director, and several program managers. The overall process was easy. I didn't have any technical questions maybe because I went into deep detail with my previous experiences and projects. They also gave a tour of the manufacturing plant for jet engines and I also had the chance to grab lunch with several entry level structures engineers.
