      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Preeminent Solutions (Mount Laurel, NJ) nel mese di gen 2021

      Colloquio

First off, this company is a PYRAMID SCHEME. The first interview was with Glenn, who was a charismatic and approachable individual. The first interview was quick and incomprehensive focusing mainly on my background and explaining myself and then hearing about his experience and how he came to work for Preeminent. It became confusing when I was asked about my ability to learn procedure and then teach and train others , leading me to believe that I was interviewing for a management position. However, there was no clarity on what I would actually be doing. After 15 minutes, we set up a second session. My second interview was with Joel. I waited 15 minutes for him to show up to the meeting and once he did there were issues with connectivity which further delayed the discussion. Once everything was cleared up, he introduced himself and I myself. He started off by asking me to talk about myself, which was strange considering I spent the day before doing the same thing. I proceeded to tell him about my previous work experience and what I was looking for in a company to work with. He then used the same vocabulary I used to describe the company to make it into this perfect image and fit for me, which I figured couldnt be the case. He then asked more questins about myself and I refused to go further without knowing the position I was interviewing for so I pressed. It took several minutes to get a clear answer as he was trying not to deviate from the script it seems he was given to read from. Hilariously, both Glenn and Joel used the same line on me: "Do you know who _____ is? Well, we started working with them 5-10 years ago and they were worth $5 million. Guess how much they are worth today. Today, they are a $1 billion company." They said they did this with both Powerhouse and Inspire and manage accounts for Verizon and AT&T. Inspire is worth nearly $6 billion today, so obviously they are falsely claiming to have worked with these large companies. Finally, I asked if I was being considered for an Account Manager position or if I was expected to start lower. He responded saying that I was not being considered for an Account Manager and that I would have to start as a "Brand Expert". He then asked if I knew the difference between indirect and direct marketing, which I did and explained the difference. I then asked if my job starting out would require me to engage in door-to-door solicitation and he confirmed. I then asked the pay scale and there is no base salary, you only work on commission. NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE YOU START IN DOOR-TO-DOOR SOLICITATION AND NEVER GET A BASE SALARY NO MATTER HOW HIGH YOU GET. This company was designed as a PYRAMID SCHEME. Once hired, you work for a month or two and get promoted aggressively. Once at a certain point you MUST hire a team to work under you. Both Glenn and Joel were very nice people, and I told Joel to look more into what he had himself in assuming he didnt already know the type of place he was working in. I would not recommend working here as these types of companies do not last long. If you are looking for quick money in a sales position, this could be for you but not for long term stable employment.
