Colloquio
The initial application just asks for standardized test scores, high school performance, and extracurriculars. Based on this information, Greg Wong (founder of Princeton Tutoring) emailed me about a phone interview. The interview was straightforward. He asked questions like, "walk me through your resume," "what is your favorite subject," "what is your best subject," "what are your time commitments." After receiving this baseline, we then proceeded online where I was expected to teach a brief lesson long division where he tested my teaching abilities. A day later, I received the offer.

Domanda 1
The lesson teaching was unexpected and it really forces you to think like a tutor.

Colloquio
My interviewer didn't ask me any unexpected questions. However, the interview was over Skype, and in the middle of it, my interviewer's Skype connection started acting up. We ended up finishing the interview over the phone instead. Overall, it was an good experience, and I was able to learn a lot about Princeton Tutoring. I received a job offer soon afterwards.

Domanda 1
There was a role-playing portion where the interviewer pretended to be a student struggling with a certain homework problems. The subjects the problems belonged to depended on which subjects I had said I would be comfortable tutoring. My questions had to do with compound interest and balancing chemical reactions.
