Their recruiter reached out to me after getting a referral. Did a phone screen and technical interview with in a few days. The technical phone interview went very well and I was waiting for an on-site interview but the recruiter went silent for a few days. When I finally reach out, they called and said “after having a meeting with the prime contractor we realized we don’t need to fill the position”. So they basically wasted my time and don’t have any control/say on who and when to hire at the contracts/client sites.
