      4 interviews: - A 30 minute phone interview with a consultant - Two one hour zoom calls with a senior consultant and director, each including a 30-ish minute test scenario -A 3 hour "Business Case Study" with a principal and an MD The first three are screeners for the final interview. I had very positive experiences with each of the first three consultants and with their recruiters, all of whom were friendly and engaging, and all of whom I was excited about the prospect of working with. At the end of the third interview I discussed compensation; the range they provided would have required me to take a pay cut, but I had enough of a positive impression to at least check out the next round. For the "Business Case Study" you're given a one page scenario with very few details and have two hours to give a presentation to senior leaders, who roleplay as clients. Despite having applied to the general consultant role, not the change management consultant, I was given an entirely change management-based scenario. If the approach the two interviewers took to their roles is representative of their client relationships, I may have dodged a bullet. They were adversarial from the beginning and dragged what was meant to be a 30-40 minute presentation into nearly 75 minutes. Afterwards, the reason the recruiter provided for not extending an offer was that I didn't provide enough of the requested details, leaving out that I wasn't able to address them because the interview dragged past 6PM and one of the interviewers had to leave to handle childcare. All in all, I appreciate how thorough the process is, and I can certainly see the value in having prospective consultants demonstrate their client-facing skills. On the other hand, I can't imagine what value there is in handing someone a laughably vague scenario that's entirely outside their past experience and approaching the interview with hostility. As another interviewee noted, win, lose or draw I don't think this was worth the 6-7 hours of my time I sank into it. The last interview left enough of a sour taste in my mouth that I certainly wouldn't have taken a pay cut to join the firm.

      Either the interviewers are liars, hypocrites, or both. The company is lost and can't offer competitive market rates. I crushed all four interviews and case studies. They tried very hard to find something wrong with my answers, but fell short and floundered. Just like what the other interviewees stated on this site, they will ask if you want feedback and then ghost you.

      Exactly as described on their website. Prompt to send scheduling invites and quick follow up after first 2 rounds. Follow up from 3rd round took about 10 days and they declined to bring me in for a case study. The first 3 interviews seemed to go very well, so I was surprised. The “decline” email invited me to reply if I wanted to ask for specific feedback. Since the decline took me by surprise, I really wanted the feedback, so I replied right away and asked for insights on where I fell short. Still no response a month later. That’s disappointing because they invited the request for feedback, and because it seemed like they tried to foster a culture of feedback to drive continuous improvement. The lack of response leaves me with a less favorable impression of the firm than when I started the process.

      Interviews were overly structured and largely unpersonal - difficult to connect with anyone on a personal level. The questions were very generic and surprisingly not well aligned to the role applied for. Talking points between interviewers around needs and the role were disconnected and confusing. The work put into the business case turned out to not be a good use of time.
