The first interview is with the Recruiter where they provide what the hiring manager is looking for and wants to know more about you. I was approached via LinkedIn, so the first conversation was very informative and made me want to know more. The recruiter scheduled a quick call with the hiring manager so I felt more comfortable and had a lot of technical and specific questions replied. The hiring manager then explained me the next steps that were: a couple interviews with people in different job levels that I would work with plus a Use case for me to work and make a presentation to a close team, including the hiring manager's manager. They gave me around 1 week to prepare for my presentation, however, it was a lot of work. But I was happy that I could show my full potential. The whole process was quick, since they needed to decide before the end of year.
