My first interview with Qlik was an HR call on February 19. Things moved quickly at first — I had my second round with the hiring manager just two days later, on February 21. Then came complete silence for nearly three weeks. Out of the blue, I received an email scheduling my third round — for the very next day. I gave it my all, and it went great! The interviewer even told me they’d be giving excellent feedback and that I would definitely hear back soon. I waited. Followed up multiple times over the next month. Then one day, without any response or rejection email, I noticed my application status was simply marked “closed.” No explanation. No courtesy reply. It’s disappointing when candidates invest time and energy into the process and are left in the dark — especially after such promising feedback. A little communication goes a long way.
