A recruiter contacted me. After some messages about my experience and the position, the recruiter sent me a personality quiz and scheduled a screening call. I received a boilerplate rejection a few days after the call with no feedback on follow-up. My experience was a solid match for what they were looking for, so I can only assume they rejected me based on the personality test and yet decided to waste everyone’s time anyway.

I have no respect for a company that can't be bothered to speak with me personally before assigning a test to me. It's a lazy, impersonal, unprofessional and disrespectful practice.
