Colloquio
After the recruiter screen I had to talk to four other people before I would even have a chance to talk to the hiring manager. It felt like a very extended screen. The first person I spoke to was kind of a random person who admitted they knew nothing about the role so they couldn't answer my questions, and two other people I spoke with complained about Redfin a lot during the interview. In fact, I barely got a word in with the last person because they spent the entire interview complaining. Seemed messy. I was then ghosted by the recruiter. I also only bothered to follow up once, because at this point I was pretty sure I didn't want to move forward, but still. After going through four interviews & talking half a day off work, some closure would have been appreciated.

Got an email to schedule the interview, in the email it said they would discuss the job and my qualifications. The guy who interviewed me called 10 minutes late, no apology whatsoever. Didn't say a word about the job and just started asking questions. I think they already found someone for the job and he was calling to get it over with because I have never interviewed with a company that was so uninterested in the candidate in my life. After about 5 minutes he said ok this is great we'll get you setup for the next interview. I NEVER HEARD BACK, COMPLETELY GHOSTED ME! I cant imagine what the culture is like internally if this is how they interview people.

The executive I interviewed with was 30 minutes late, and checked his phone, walked in and out of the interview, and even audibly passed gas during the interview. He was such a mess it was hard to concentrate. There were way too many interviews with way too many people over way too many months. It turned me off to actually ever working there.
