The people I met with were very nice. The recruiter kept me updated on the process and as very responsive.
However, this was a phantom job posting designed to complete the "hiring" paperwork to prove that the company tried to hire externally. After 4 rounds of interviews, I didn’t get the job. I was extremely surprised as to what went wrong. A few weeks later, I found out on LinkedIn that they decided to promote an analyst in the department to the senior finance manager role. How can an analyst jump to a senior manager role?!
It just makes no sense how the hiring process at Reebok works and how an analyst gets promoted to a senior manager role. The hiring process left a terrible impression about the company.
Note to Reebok -- If you already knew who was getting this job, then you should’ve promoted the person first and tried to hire an Analyst. Shouldn’t have wasted so much of my (and your internal team’s) time.
Note to candidates: Watch out for phantom job postings so you don’t waste your time and energy.
