The worst interview I have attended. Thankfully wasnt F2F A consultancy had called me for the job opening at this company and was very keen to have me F2F at bangalore. I couldnt accept it as I was in an other state, and coming to bangalore for an interview which was not one day interview either, would be a waste of time, if I am rejected. I had asked them to conduct a video or telephonic initial round and if suitable, I accepted to come F2F. After number of convincing, they finally accepted, and I received the interview call , telephonic. My resume was pretty clear in what I am experienced and what I am looking for, However the interview, I have no clue, as to what he studied or derived from my resume. The questions he asked, were totally out of scope, and no relevancy at any form to my resume and the JD they had provided. Relevance labs interview was so irrelevant. He went through my resume and was saying Interviewer: So Okay! I see you have experience in cucumber automation, and what is the language you use? Me: Ruby Interviewer: Alright, okay! Cucumber with ruby, okay! fine, please tell me, (Provides a code in skype), suppose I have this java code in selenium, what would the memory management process be for this code in java. Me: I was like whatttt???? Interviewer: Okay! How do you switch windows in selenium Me: I had told him in ruby, and also, informed him that I havent worked in java and selenium. Interview ends. Phew! Thankfully, I thought, I didnt accept their F2F interview, coming all the way to bangalore, else it would have been an utter waste of my time.
