Received an invitation for a basic skills assessment that covered math and reading comprehension, then had a straightforward and very positive HR interview. Invited to schedule meeting with hiring manager, I thought I was doing well and made a good impression but it was clear HM didn’t have much interest in me as a candidate. Was sent a coding assessment document and swiftly turned in a response I was proud of, but I was rejected within 24 hours. I was told after the coding assessment would have been an on-site interview and meeting the CTO and whatnot, but it seems they’re not looking for new grads despite what the job description may imply.
