Initial phone call with recruiter, followed by a written assignment and 1-hour video interview with recruiter. Then a 90-minute video interview with hiring manager. I was then notified they were going with an internal candidate but offered a different position. The kicker is that they require a non-compete agreement that is vague, 1-sided and poorly written and will not answer reasonable questions about it. Came as a total surprise, had never been mentioned in weeks of discussions.
