This is for a Singapore based role. A recruiter (internal) reached out via Whatsapp to schedule the initial interview. I asked about things needed to prepare for the interview and was told “nothing needed” - but it was already with two managers. I never had the initial interview phase with HR. The actual interview itself was pretty okay, technical discussions for an anlayst role and the people were nice. I asked about the timeframe and was told that it would take two weeks. Three weeks have gone by without any updates. I only had the email address of the recruiter but they didn’t reply as well after my follow up after 3 weeks. I just found out in the careers website that the status of my application was changed to closed. No update on the progress or anything and super disappointing for a global company of this size and scale. I hope recruitment knows the agony for a candidate to be waiting in vain. Anyway, just a heads up to people looking to get interviewed here, you might just be fillers for the company’s headcount of candidates for their own quota.
