The interview wasn’t even a real interview. The two interviewers were 15 minutes late and asked 5 questions read off a sheet of paper that don’t get to know you at all. They are situation based and memory recall based questions. One interviewer who, seemed like the deputy, was texting on her phone right in front of me during the interview (I know she was texting bc she had her phone laying face up on the table while she was reading the text). Once the 15 minute interview was over, there was no chance to even ask questions about the position or getting to know them. They simply dismissed you and walked you out the building. Please remember that yes, it is about them choosing us to work for them but it’s also us choosing them as an employer. Take the time to get to know the people who have put in effort for this position, even if the spots have already been filled.
Red flags in the interview process: no respect for your time, not a single question about who you are or what you bring to see if you would be a good fit for the team, obvious disrespect of texting in front of a candidate, and not a single chance to let you ask questions! Don’t ignore them! They show the management of the department.
