Contacted by one of Rivian's recruiters for a different position, then was transferred to a different recruiter for this position. Went through a phone interview with the recruiter, phone interview with the hiring manager, and various panel interviews via Zoom over the course of a week, with various cross-functional team members. Overall, almost all of the interviewers were nice to talk to and the interviews felt like they had a good cadence. The hiring manager, however, was not particularly likable. He came off as grumpy throughout both the phone and panel interview. He gave the impression that he was too busy and needed to move on to other things. Also, the hiring manager expressed doubt about my skills in the phone interview, so I was rather surprised when I was contacted by the recruiter to schedule times for the panel interviews. Then after the week of interviews, they completely ghosted me. I was told my recruiter would be in contact 2-4 weeks after my last interview and I haven't heard anything in 2.5 months. So they wasted a week of my time and didn't even have the courtesy to send me a rejection email.
