I received an invitation to do a one-on-one video interview back in September. From there, I was accepted and went on to do five interviews from September through November. For each interview, I had to take at least 1 hour out of my workday to meet, sometimes twice in the same day for both a morning and afternoon meeting - not easy to accomplish without getting caught when you're working a full-time job (about 5-6 hours of interviews total). For two of those interviews, the person I was supposed to interview with (same person) initially didn't show up after I had waited 30 minutes. Both interviews were re-scheduled by, and with apologies from, HR (I received no apology from this person when we finally did meet). So, in actuality, I had to set aside 7-8 hours total on different workdays for the interviews. Once the interviews were complete, HR had said they would inform me at every step of the way what was happening. I reached out to them two weeks after my final interview, since I hadn't heard from them. No response, so I figured I was being ghosted. HR then let me know three weeks after receiving my email that they were still considering me and would have an answer for me soon. Three weeks after that - which was four days before Christmas - I was rejected for the job. Unfortunately, I can never reasonably interview with them again because of how long their process takes and how I could have lost the job I presently have simply by taking so much time away from work. Good thing I have offers elsewhere and didn't put all of my eggs in Rockstar's basket.
