I interviewed for a lab role and left feeling pretty disrespected. Some of the questions felt off, like I was being tested on things that didn’t match the role, or like they assumed I wasn’t qualified. I’ve worked in labs before and have my degree, so it was frustrating to be treated like I didn’t belong. As a Latino applicant, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was being judged differently. The tone was cold and dismissive. If this company really cares about diversity, they need to take a hard look at how they run their interviews.
