He asked me for my social security number without what even seemed like a formal interview. Didn't discuss any training and when I asked who their clients were, he said "other states," whatever that means. I said I was uncomfortable providing the last 4 digits of my SSN. He said that's okay, that he had put my info in and was sending me salary request over. Then asked for me to send over a copy of my recent resumes, along with my birthday, my social security number, LinkedIn ID, and also wanted to know where I was located. This makes me a little uneasy considering I couldn't understand half of what he said, phone interview was rushed, and I'm left with more questions when I wanted to schedule a time to discuss and received an immediate call instead. All of the information they requested from me is everything they'd need to commit identity theft or fraud. I just don't know... Think I should go with my gut instinct on this one and run like hell.
