Got a call from one of the HRs, whom i thought to be an employee of a consultancy firm who was going to refer me for PayPal. So I was excited to give a shot at it. In the entire telephonic or mail communication, it was no where mentioned that it was going to be 3rd party payroll job where PayPal was going to be the client. So i was under the assumption that after initial internal screening they might decide to forward the profile to the client for the actual screening process. However, i realized this only after clearing my first skype round when the interviewer told me that i had to work from client location(which was a bit confusing). then only i realized that it was a contract to hire sort of a job. With all this confusion on one side, i must acknowledge that the interview was quite smooth and easy. I was suppose to attend 2 skype interviews( i declined after the first interview since i was not interest in contract to hire vacancy). The questions were pretty bookish & basically from core java (collections and jdbc). All in all it was a smooth experience if we neglect the unintentional confused caused regarding the payroll.
