      Colloquio

I wanted to share my recent job interview experience, which left me feeling misled and disappointed. I believe it's essential to provide feedback to improve the interview process for both candidates and employers. The interview process consisted of two parts: a group interview via Zoom and a one-on-one in-person interview. While I appreciate the opportunity to interview with your company, there were several aspects of the process that left me with a negative impression. The group interview via Zoom was challenging, primarily due to the presence of multiple interviewers. It was difficult to gauge the individuals' personalities and preferences in such a setting. Furthermore, I found it frustrating that the interviewer did not accept any questions or provide information about the job itself. Understanding the role and responsibilities is crucial for a candidate to determine if they are the right fit for the position. My dissatisfaction with the interview process escalated during the one-on-one interview. To my surprise, my interviewer was an 18-year-old who primarily asked personal questions about me and where I saw myself in five years. While these questions are important, I expected to receive more information about the job during this stage of the interview. When I finally interrupted and asked for details about the job, I was shocked to learn that it was a door-to-door sales position. This revelation caught me completely off guard because I had applied for a customer service role, not a sales role. I believe it's crucial for job descriptions to accurately reflect the nature of the position to avoid misleading candidates. When I expressed my concern and explained that I was not interested in a door-to-door sales job, the interviewer insisted that sales had a customer service component. However, I felt that the job description was misleading, as it did not explicitly state that it involved door-to-door sales. Clear and accurate job descriptions are essential to attracting candidates who are genuinely interested in the role and industry. In the end, I decided to withdraw my application because the position did not align with my career goals and expectations. I hope this feedback can be taken constructively to improve the hiring process and ensure that candidates are provided with accurate information about job roles from the outset

Short concise. Looking for people because it's a pyramid based corporate: they need new people to push existing people up to the top. Probably salary isn't too bad as it's sales: you make what you put in.

Thank you for leaving us your feedback and we are so glad to hear you had a positive experience. We are a bit confused as to why you think this is a pyramid scheme, though. We have a unique business model, but we are proud of that. Instead of taking 10 years to grow into a management position at our firm, it can take one. Obviously, this is not traditional, but it does not fit the criteria of a pyramid scheme. We care about our employees and provide outstanding training and mentorship, which is how we are able to offer that type of growth. We are sorry that we failed to properly explain this in your interview and we wish you the best of luck in your search.
