Several rounds and then they abruptly closed the role after I completed the case study. 1. I had a first round interview with the previous Lead PM, who was leaving the company. The application was to backfill their position. 2. Then I had a second round with another member of the product org. 3. Then I was given a case study to work on for 1 week. I was told I would then present the case study to the CEO as a final around. 4. After I submitted the case study, I received no clear timeline for the CEO presentation or clarity on next steps. After a few days of silence, I followed up and then received an email stating that they were closing the role after a leadership change in strategy. This was frustrating as the case study took time and effort, and I could have spent it elsewhere.
