I had two phone interviews with the director of HR, both of which were fantastic, engaging interviews. I think we both learned a lot. Come to the in-person interview with the director, the CEO, and the owner himself, the first two were utterly frigid and the last showed up late and clearly couldn't care less, never mind how long it took be noticed by anyone in the office. The message was clear from the start: you aren't it. I walked out with a sense of relief that I would certainly not be offered a position.
