I was contacted via LinkedIn by Talent Acquisition Partner from Dashdoor hiring for a role at SevenRooms. The link they sent me was for the job opening in Australia, but after searching I found one for UK. The meeting was remote and booked for 30 minutes but lasted only 10. The person spoke a bit about the company but I have a feeling I knew more than them just by doing some research. I only got asked why I want to work for them even though the company approached me. The person didn't know much about the team or the job itself as they worked for the parent company so there were not many question I could ask. We only discussed the remote/hybrid option. I had a feeling they wanted to finish up ASAP. I got an email the next morning that they weren't going ahead and the person who contacted me never responded to my follow up message asking for feedback.
