I had a hard time. Admittedly, my strength is UI/UX and HTML/SCSS. JavaScript is something that's taken me a long time to learn, and they need someone with JS skills much stronger than mine. Interviews are for learning if I can meet an organization's needs. Not having the right skills is okay. The two developers I interviewed were condescending and unpleasant. I wish I had ended the interview myself much earlier. After I had trouble answering the first technical question, it was like blood in the water. It was a bad experience.
