I interviewed with a recruiter in the Hague, one on one, over the phone. The date was set a full month from the moment I was notified of getting through the first round. It was exactly as described in the different forums online, the questions were very predictable, but the interviewer did go very in-depth on specific examples to really drill down. I think it was a challenging but overall enjoyable interview.
I was offered to proceed to the assessment day, but withdrew my application as I had received an offer from another firm. I had notified them of this two weeks earlier, but received no reply, and the ten workday window had passed, so I assumed I did not make it. The hiring manager phoned me personally to invite me to the assessment day, and to ask what kind of areas I was interested in. It was very personal and amicable, and she emphasized that if my other job did not work out, I could join an assessment day within the next 12 months, so I would not have to restart the process again. She sounded honestly sorry to see me go, but was very friendly.

Shell’s interview process usually begins with online assessments and progresses to a Final Assessment, which includes a business case study presentation and a behavioral interview. Throughout the process, assessors evaluate your problem-solving ability, communication skills, leadership potential, teamwork, adaptability, commercial awareness, and how you approach complex business challenges and decisions.
The first round is a recorded video interview. You need to record some videos based on their questions. There were 3 questions or me, which is not very unique. About your project, your interest in Shell.
