Was contacted by a staffing company to take this interview; the manager sounded nice on the phone and sounded impressed; work was directly in line with my previous service provider experience; the interviewer said she would ask me to come down to NYC for a second round only if it was a 'formality'; was informed by the staffing company that they hired one of the contractors that was already working for them; was no surprise since the manager had mentioned that they were big on cost-cutting
