I applied for the role in spring 2023. The Interview Process was structured and cordial. I had 2 separate phone interviews with the hiring manager who later invited me to interview in person from out of state. They worked with me on scheduling and always communicated quickly about any changes in the process. I interviewed with a panel after traveling from out of the area. It was a productive conversation highlight their needs and expectations followed by a facility tour and meet/ greet with employees from every department. Since I had traveled from out of the area they worked to schedule a second in-person interview with me the following week (I stayed the weekend turning things into a mini-working vacation). The second interview was a small presentation with the department director who had been out of the office the previous week. It was a little rushed but not uncomfortable. In the end it was still very positive. After a few weeks the company reached back out with the news that they were pausing hiring for the role as the owners had put more emphasis on hiring for a different area in the company. They were apologetic and thanked me for my time. It was all communicated cordially and professional even if the news was a disappointment. Overall very professional positive experience even without the benefit of an offer letter.
