All was well, until their super long tenured management wonder why you haven't stayed somewhere 25 years like they have. No one on the interview panel seemed to understand that it doesn't work that way any more. So regardless, it wasn't long after that I got the expected rejection. Would have really enjoyed working for the corporate folks that I interviewed with, too bad the local site management is too short-sighted.
