      Candidatura

La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Skylark (Londra, Inghilterra) nel mese di feb 2023

      Colloquio

The first interview was with 2 ladies from the recruitment team, which was really lovely, had a great atmosphere and we built a good rapport which led to being offered a second interview, which was hosted online due to my location, though I made clear I was able to commute for the job itself and actually they suggested an online interview though I was happy to attend in person. From the moment I entered the second interview, things were very odd. They were setting up at first, then when the CEO started speaking, it seemed as if he was speaking about me but not to me, but it turned out he was speaking to me. He immediately wrote me off and suggested that I maybe wouldn't like the job since I lived elsewhere (though it's not really that far) and then proceeded to tell me the interview would be quite informal as this was his style. He asked me to share about myself, my life, which I did, and I felt like I was under a microscope, as well as defending myself from the get go. It made me feel gaslit because I was being told by this person that I didn't want to be there. He then referred to my redundancy which I had mentioned and it was like he took this and ran with it. He then proceeded to hang on that and suggest that maybe I wasn't ready for this role because of that and would be great for another company regardless of how the interview at hand went. So he portrayed it like he was encouraging me, and I could tell the recruitment manager, who I'd met in the first interview that was also there was quite uncomfortable and didn't say much. They proceeded to let me know they would give me a chance to interview in person, asked my availability for the following week to come down, so that I had a fair chance, as others interviewed in person. We set a date and time and when I contacted them via email to coordinate, they never replied to me again. I emailed maybe 3 times just to be sure, but no response. It was the oddest interview experience I've ever had.
