Applied for the job on edjoin and was called in within a week for the interview. When I arrived i filled out the application for about 30 min. The teachers and and staff were nice and friendly. As for the interview itself, that was a different story. The director seemed to have not read my resume, as it clearly stated I had a ABA experience, when she read this the interview switched off topic to ABA and was visibly irritated. She asked several questions what I did in the past and told me that in their school they dont do ABA. I said thats fine since I applied for a teacher position not ABA. I tried my best to redirect her back to my teaching experience which I had 3 years of, but to no avail. The interview was very awkward. Wish I would have read the glassdoor reviews prior to the interview and avoided it.

Very kind and stated they would help me learn as I go. They were excited to have me on board and shared it could lead to full time experience. They shared how smart start was very inclusive and high energy. They were very serious on food allergies and being vaccinated as many kids were prone to many illnesses.
