Colloquio
I had a group interview for Smiggle as they were looking for staff to support a new store opening. I found the interview to be really nice, they talked about the role and company further and gave an overall idea of the type of candidate they're looking for. I was later made aware group interviews were not as common, but that the questions were generally around the same ideas/topics. They will normally walk you around the shop floor and ask you how you'd upsell or cross sell an item.
On a general note, be confident, outspoken and friendly. If you can, familiarise yourself with the products they already sell.

Introduce the person next to you and talk about their experience.
How would you sell this product? What benefits would you highlight about it and what would you sell it with?

The interview was a group interview. We first had to state our availability (we had a sheet that we wrote down on) then the interviewer just asked some casual questions. We were then given a random toy that we had to present and ‘market’ to the others. It was very chill for a group environment.

2 steps - first on the phone and then face to face with regional manager and store manager. Very standardised interview questions were asked. Nothing challenging, based on experience questions.
